Доисторические памятники Бата расположены рядом с пальмовой рощей во внутренней части султаната Оман. Вместе с близко расположенными памятниками они образуют наиболее целостный, из всех существующих в мире, комплекс поселений и некрополей 3-го тысячелетия до н.э.

مقابر "بـات" في سلطنة عمان تروي حكاية حضارة مجهولة التفاصيل يعود تاريخها إلى الألف الثالث قبل الميلاد، أي منذ حوالي 5000 سنة، تتكون من حوالي 400 مقبرة أثرية عبارة عن بناء دائري من حجارة صلبة مربعة الشكل على شكل قباب من الحجر ، وتتألف المقبرة من جدارين خارجيين وآخر داخلي مقسم إلى عدة غرف. ويشبه وسطها شكل خلية النحل، ويبلغ ارتفاعها نحو 4 أمتار. ويقسم القبر من الداخل إلى حجرات لدفن الموتى

5000 Jahre alte Geschichte steht hier auf Hügeln. von Al Ayn nur mit Allrad zu erreichen oder mit normalen PKW über die Strasse Ibri - Rustaq. Man kann hier direkt an die Gräber, Geschichte zum Anfassen. Einige restauriert Gräber sowie die am besten erhaltenen sind aber eingezäunt. Achtung: Hier sind nicht die 18 Gräber im einer Reihe auf dem Bergkamm, wie es auf manchen Bildern zu sehen ist. Dieses Panorama ist in Al Ayn.

All the tombs from Bat are in different stages of ruin. If you have not too much time better skip these and go direct to the ones from Al Ayn, but don't follow the earth road from Bat to Al Ayn.
