A fantastic lodge and easily one of the best accomodation option near the Etosha NP. Most of the rooms are located inside traditional African huts and provide guests with all possible amenities. The staff is really helpful and the dinner in the evening offers something for every taste.

I put 3 stars because of the quality/stars balance. The area is great, beautiful garden, comfortable rooms, good food. This place is indeed luxury. However there are things that SHOULD NOT be in a luxury place. 1. Annoying butterflies during meal. Not the fault of the hotel, of course. However what other lodges do, is that they put the plates with sweet water and butterflies fly right there, so people can eat normally. 2. Dirty fridge (picture attached). 3. The most important thing is that there is VERY DANGEROUS night lamp right at the bed. The lamp gets really really hot, my husband passed by, touched the lamp for 1 second and he's got terrible burn on, and now he has the scar. Ok, he is a man, not so serious for him, but what if the child gets burnt and gets the scar like that? That's just not safe and secure (picture of lamp attached). P.S. If you read and use the lamp, there IS NO way you can turn the lamp, you just can't touch because it is incredibly hot.

We stayed at Mokuti from the 12th to 16th of August. Rooms are neat and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff, the spa is also worth visiting. Everyone is so easy going, always accommodating any special requests. Worth doing a guided tour with Mathias through the Reptile Park. Mokuti is huge, and apart from being less than 2km outside the Etosha gate entrance, you will never get bored. I LOVED the wildlife roaming the area, redhartebees, steenbokkies, dik-diks, tree-squirrels, mongoose, birds , butterflies and listening to the frogs choruses at night.
