Холмы Матобо
Объект всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО (Зимбабве)
Для этой местности характерны многочисленные скалистые холмы, возвышающиеся над гранитным щитом, покрывающим основную часть территории Зимбабве. Крупные скальные образования служили для древнего человека естественными укрытиями, с раннего каменного века и вплоть до начала нашей эры. Здесь также обнаружено великолепное собрание наскальной живописи. Холмы Матобо продолжают оставаться важным центром притяжения для местных сообществ, которые все еще используют святилища и священные места, тесно связанные с их традициями и социально-экономическим укладом, как места поклонения.

We spent a very pleasant 3 days at the lodge. Food was good, staff pleasant and helpful. Will be planning to go again. Beautiful scenery.

We stayed in the lodge for 4 nights and had the best time. The rooms were very clean and had new and beautiful bathrooms. The chef prepared amazing meals, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. Besides a lot of activities such as hikes, game drives or learning about the matopo culture, the lodge is a great place to just relax by the poolside.

Beautiful lodge, very friendly staff and fantastic food! There are many things to do and experience in the area. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Zimbabwe.

My man and I have been to so many Places and This is by far the best Safari lodge in Zimbabwe. The service is above par,and it is well located amidst beautiful Hills providing a quiet and peaceful getaway .Keep it up Matobo hills lodge.

Magnificent nature and atmosphere! A beautiful place for both GREAT adventure and for complete relaxation. Friendly and serviceminded staff and tasty and delicious food! Unforgetable time by the pool in daytime and by the fireplace watching stars at night (- and cool drinks from the bar).Thank you for a splendid stay! We´ll be back!
